Post to Social Media from Grok
Grok (grok.com) supports custom MCP connectors. Add OmniSocials once and every new Grok chat can draft posts, schedule content, and read your analytics.
Connect via grok.com
No install needed. Grok connects to OmniSocials' hosted MCP endpoint with OAuth. Grok has no link that prefills its connector form, so the steps are manual:
- Open grok.com/connectors. Sign in to Grok if it asks.
- Click New Connector, then Custom.
- Paste this URL as the MCP server URL and save:

- Click Connect. Grok redirects you to OmniSocials to sign in.
- Tick the workspaces Grok may use, then click Allow. You land back in Grok.
That's it. All approved workspaces are available in every new Grok chat. Grok registers itself as an OAuth client, so there is no Client ID or secret to enter.
Verifying the connection
In a new Grok chat, ask:
Show my connected social accounts on OmniSocials
Grok should call list_accounts and return the accounts in your workspace. If it responds with an authentication or connection error, remove the connector and add it again.
Capabilities
With OmniSocials connected, you can ask Grok to:
- List connected accounts, media library items, or scheduled posts
- Create drafts or scheduled posts with per-platform content
- Upload media from a URL and attach it to a post
- Query analytics for a post, account, or time period
- Manage webhooks
The available tools match the public API. The workspaces you approved during OAuth determine what Grok can see and do.
